About A Journey

There's a new shiny building
With loads of people and suits in.
They work hard for their children
Then rush home to ignore them.
There's a man outside who's watching,
Sat on a pile of boxes.
He had work now he's out of it.
Thank god he's got his dog.
There's kids that don't play out,
Because they play online.
Their parents say they're fine,
But worry all the time.
There's groups of messed up teens,
Barely making a scene.
I wonder which ones have I been,
And how they feel about me.
I let it all go it washes over me.
There's people just like me,
Saying what they see.
They hope to be set free,
Or find some kind of release.

Stuck

Six months and still no word.
I try to reach out but I cannot be heard.
Your name gets stuck on my tongue.
How I wish that you were still young.
I know that you're looking down
and I swear to god I'll make you proud.
Your face is stuck in my head.
I still remember the last thing you said.
Your name gets stuck on my tongue.
How I wish that you were still young.
I hate it now you're gone.
I'll try to keep my eyes on.

LELO Leeds, UK
LELO began as a solo project- an outlet for frontman Ronan Peaker’s late-night, lo-fi tinged musical
ideas.
After releasing his debut EP, DIFFERENT TYPES OF LOVE, Ronan called upon friends Aaron (Bass), Tom (Drums) and Lewis (Keys/Guitar) to help translate LELO’s bedroom sound into something more.
‘Endlessly beguiling and cryptic.’ - Clash Magazine.
